Constable Country Childcare

are seeking experienced Nursery Practitioners to work within our private nursery based in and around Brantham/East Bergholt. We will consider term-time applicants, please state this on your application.

If you have not been working within the childcare sector for 6 months or more and are considering returning to the profession, you will be eligible to apply for the government incentive scheme of 1000. Applicants will receive 1000 direct to their bank account once they have been in post for 6 months.

Salary is generous and dependent upon skills and experience. Own transport may be required for more rural settings.

You must hold a recognised Level 2 or 3 (or above) Childcare qualification. Safeguarding certificate (dated within 3 years) is desirable. Paediatric First Aid and Food Hygiene are desirable.

Skills and experience:

Previous experience of caring for children aged 0-5 An understanding of how children learn, and the early learning goals A passion to provide high quality childcare A positive approach to your own professional development Good written and verbal skills - for report writing, maintaining written records and sharing information with parents and colleagues.

An ability to plan and prepare exciting and challenging activities for individual children and for groups of children; to promote their learning Flexibility Excellent communication skills; with children, parents/carers and colleagues Punctuality Reliable and trustworthy Confidence, commitment, enthusiasm and warmth - ensuring the children get the best care and start to their early learning An ability to work as part of a team

Pay: 12.30-13.80 per hour
