Step into the new academic year with a wonderful new role, with great opportunities for growth within your childcare career, as well as a 250 bonus if you're the right person for us! Little Tinkers is a high quality Ofsted-registered childcare provision, with a growing nursery setting in Hazel Grove.
We're seeking to recruit a one-year role for a qualified Nursery Practitioner to work within our team at least four full days each week. Initially starting as a maternity leave cover, this has the potential to be extended into a permanent role. The right person will be reliable, kind, compassionate and have a can-do attitude to strive towards helping us create an outstanding nursery, where children thrive and our team flourish.
You will have previous childcare experience and hold a full and relevant Level 3 (minimum) qualification in EYFS/childcare-relevant subject. If you don't already hold a current Paediatric First Aid Certificate, we'll get you trained shortly after starting with us, as safety is a priority of ours. We need you to have an understanding of safeguarding matters and procedures pertaining to safeguarding, but again will ensure that training is given to ensure you understand local processes and procedures.
The role itself involves providing high quality care for children up to 4 years of age, within legal ratios, and meeting all relevant industry legislation/guidelines. You'll work within your room team to create a safe and stimulating environment to promote play-based learning and fun experiences, which meet each unique child's needs. A full job description can be provided upon request.
Some of the many benefits of working at Little Tinkers include fixed shift patterns, no weekend work, pension*, ongoing training, free parking, access to our employee assistance programme and a 250 completion bonus (subject to satisfactory completion of the original 12 month contractual term).
All employees of Little Tinkers have a responsibility for, and must be committed to, safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and for ensuring that they are protected from harm. Any appointment will be subject to a satisfactory enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure & Barring Service, and suitable references and certification.
