Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting. This role requires excellent communication skills, leadership abilities, and a commitment to providing high-quality childcare. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow.

Responsibilities



Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Plan and implement engaging activities that promote children's development across all areas of learning. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to support children's emotional well-being and development. Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development, ensuring effective communication with parents regarding their child's achievements. Ensure the nursery environment is safe, clean, and conducive to learning, adhering to health and safety regulations. Support the management team in leading and mentoring other staff members, promoting best practices in childcare. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements



Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare (e.g., Level 3 Diploma or equivalent). Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential. Strong management and leadership skills to guide junior staff effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development. Ability to drive may be advantageous for transporting children or attending off-site activities. A commitment to safeguarding children's welfare and promoting their best interests at all times. Pay: 12.82 per hour
