37 hours per week, across 4 days (Monday to Friday, between 7:30am - 6:30pm)

About the Role

Little Monkeys Nursery is looking to expand its team with enthusiastic and caring individuals who are passionate about early learning and childcare. This is an exciting opportunity for

qualified nursery practitioners

who are committed to giving children the best possible start in life.

As part of our strong, supportive team, you will help create a warm, nurturing environment for children aged 6 months to 5 years. You'll use national curricular guidance to plan and deliver experiences that support children's development across all stages, while working in partnership with families and other professionals.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care that supports each child's care routines, health needs, and development Build strong, positive relationships with parents and families, offering consistency and support Plan and deliver a wide range of experiences based on children's interests and individual learning needs Take on a key worker role, documenting children's progress using a range of national and local frameworks Collaborate with an experienced team to ensure coordinated care and learning Contribute to self-evaluation and continuous improvement within the setting Work with visiting professionals (e.g. Speech & Language Therapists, Health Visitors, ASL team) to implement individual care plans where required

Essential Requirements

SVQ Level 3 in Social Services (Children and Young People) or equivalent recognised childcare qualification
Working knowledge of:
