About You:

You hold a full and relevant Early Years qualification (Level 2 or 3).

You're passionate about play-based learning and child development.

You work well in a team and bring positivity and creativity to your role.

You're dedicated to providing high-quality care and education for every child. you have a good working knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures, and understand your role in keeping children safe.

Duties



Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Develop and implement engaging educational activities that promote learning through play. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication. Observe and assess children's development, maintaining accurate records to track progress. Collaborate with other staff members to create an inclusive environment that meets the diverse needs of all children. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery setting, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Qualifications



Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare are essential. Previous nursery experience or experience working with children is highly desirable. Strong management and leadership abilities to guide a team effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A valid driving licence is preferred but not mandatory.
