Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursery Practitioner to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs through engaging activities and attentive care. Responsibilities



Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development. Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, adhering to health and safety regulations. Promote positive behavior management strategies to support children's social skills and emotional regulation. Maintain accurate records of children's progress, routines, and any incidents or concerns. Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate children's progress and address individual needs. Support children with special educational needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized care. Assist with daily routines such as feeding, intimate self care, nap times, and outdoor play. Uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards within the classroom environment. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with early childhood education best practices.

Qualifications



Prior experience working with children in settings such as nursery, preschool, or nannying is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development theories and practices. Experience with classroom management and behavior management techniques. Certifications in first aid and child safeguarding are highly desirable. Background in special education or working with children with disabilities is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members. Demonstrated ability to create an inclusive environment that supports diverse needs. Passion for nurturing young children's growth and fostering a love of learning. This position is ideal for individuals committed to early childhood education who enjoy working closely with children and their families in a supportive team environment.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.35-13.72 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
