Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate

Qualified

Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and a strong foundation in early childhood education.

This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, promoting their development through play and structured activities.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in fostering children's social, emotional, and cognitive growth while ensuring their safety and well-being.

Responsibilities

Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote children's learning and development. Provide high-quality childcare in a safe, caring, and stimulating environment. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for each child. Manage daily routines and ensure that the nursery runs smoothly. Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records of their development. Support children's social skills by encouraging positive interactions and conflict resolution. Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive team environment. Uphold health and safety standards within the nursery at all times.

Requirements

Level 2/3 Qualified in Childcare is a

MUST

Applicants will be subject to safeguarding checks and an enhanced DBS check. Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting. A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is desirable. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire both children and colleagues. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining a positive attitude. A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
