At The Gower School we believe every child is as unique as the service we offer. Our goal is to make sure that our children are confident, happy all-rounders with a love of learning. We offer an excellent working environment in a well-resourced accredited Montessori nursery.

Working hours:

Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week. The nursery is open from 8am to 6pm, 48 weeks of the year and staff work within a shift system. This is a permanent position.

Start:

As soon as possible.

Salary:

Starting from 25,000 dependant on qualifications and experience and will be discussed at interview stage.

Person specification:

As our ideal nursery practitioner, you will be flexible and creative with strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team. You will have a sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and be passionate about child development.

It is essential for this role to hold Level 2 or 3 in Childcare qualification e.g. NNEB, CACHE, NVQ in Childcare.

Key responsibilities:

You will be a key person to a specific group of children and be responsible for liaising with parents on all aspects of their child's care and development. This position involves monitoring children's development, progression and planning their next steps.
