Job Summary


We are seeking a passionate and dedicated

Self-Employed Preschool Teacher

to work independently in our setting. As the key contact for children, you will take ownership of their daily learning experience, creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters social, emotional, and cognitive development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, excellent communication skills, and a genuine love for working with young children.

Duties



Work independently as the key contact for children, planning and delivering age-appropriate activities that support early learning and development. Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and curiosity. Build and maintain positive relationships with children and families to support each child's individual learning journey. Monitor and assess children's progress, providing regular feedback to parents on their development. Guide behaviour positively and effectively, fostering respect, cooperation, and self-confidence in children. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of attendance, activities, progress, and any incidents. Ensure all safeguarding, health, and safety standards are upheld within the setting. Take responsibility for your own professional growth by engaging in ongoing training and development.

Skills



Experience working with children in a nursery or preschool setting is essential. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff. Ability to drive initiatives that promote children's learning and development through engaging activities. Leadership qualities to manage classroom dynamics and support fellow educators as needed. Excellent organisational skills to plan lessons and maintain records efficiently. A solid understanding of childcare principles and early childhood education methodologies. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for nurturing young minds are crucial attributes for success in this role.
