We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Dental Nurse to join our busy and dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will be kind, caring, and able to work effectively as part of a team. Responsibilities
Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
Provide chairside support to enhance patient comfort and cooperation during treatments.
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions to promote optimal dental health.
Manage appointments, including scheduling, confirming, and rescheduling as necessary to optimise patient flow.
Ensure the cleanliness and sterilisation of dental instruments and equipment in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
Collaborate with the dental team to enhance overall practice efficiency and patient satisfaction.
Skills
Proficient in IT skills for managing patient records and appointment systems effectively.
Excellent command of English, both written and verbal, to communicate clearly with patients and colleagues.
Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
Ability to communicate empathetically with patients, providing reassurance and support throughout their visit.
Previous experience as a nurse or in a healthcare setting is advantageous but not essential.
A genuine passion for patient care, ensuring that all individuals feel valued and respected during their time at the practice.
