Old Catton Pharmacy is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and detail oriented Pharmacy Dispenser or Pharmacy Assistant to join our friendly and supportive community pharmacy team. This is a key role within the pharmacy, supporting the safe and efficient dispensing of medications while providing excellent patient care. You will work closely with the pharmacist and the wider pharmacy team to ensure patients receive a high standard of service every day.

We are looking for someone who is punctual, organised, and able to work well in a busy pharmacy environment.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately dispense prescribed medications in line with legal and professional requirements Ensure all medicines are correctly labelled and checked before supply Provide excellent customer service by answering patient queries and offering guidance on medication use Work collaboratively with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to support patient care Maintain accurate and up to date dispensing records Assist with stock control, including ordering, receiving, and restocking medicines Support medication processes under the supervision of the responsible pharmacist Maintain a clean, organised, and safe pharmacy environment at all times

What We're Looking For

Previous experience as a Pharmacy Dispenser or Pharmacy Assistant (essential) Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety Good communication skills and a friendly, professional manner Ability to work well as part of a team Reliable, punctual, and well organised Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced community pharmacy

Skills & Experience

Experience in dispensing and handling prescriptions Understanding of pharmacy procedures and patient confidentiality Confidence communicating with patients and healthcare professionals Ability to manage workload while maintaining high standards of accuracy and service
