Job Description

MSP Projects Limited is looking for a skilled and dedicated plumber to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a self-employed position under the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS), ideal for someone who takes pride in high-quality workmanship and wants consistent work within a supportive, professional environment.

Job Overview

You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems and fixtures across residential and commercial refurbishment projects. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge, be confident using hand and power tools, and be able to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Duties

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures Assemble and install piping systems in compliance with current regulations Conduct inspections to assess plumbing system performance and safety Operate hand and power tools effectively and safely Perform basic carpentry tasks where needed for plumbing installations Lift and handle heavy materials and equipment Keep accurate records of work completed and materials used Collaborate with other trades to ensure smooth project delivery

Experience & Requirements

Fully qualified plumber (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent) Minimum 3 years' experience in domestic and/or commercial plumbing Strong mechanical skills and ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues Experience with welding techniques (advantageous) Basic maths for measuring and material calculations Carpentry skills are a bonus but not essential Own tools and PPE (we also supply PPE as required) CSCS card (preferred) Valid UTR number Full UK driving licence required - company van provided after probationary period
