Qualified Residential Support Worker - Children's Residential Care

About the Role

We are looking for dedicated, compassionate Residential Support Workers to join our growing team in Stoke-on-Trent. This is a meaningful opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of children and young people in care.

You will be working in a therapeutic, nurturing home environment that supports emotional wellbeing, promotes independence, and helps each young person achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, person-centred care in a children's residential setting Support young people emotionally, socially, and practically in their daily lives Assist with the development and delivery of individual care plans Encourage independence and promote positive daily routines and life skills Ensure the home remains a safe, stable, and supportive environment Accompany and transport young people to appointments, school, and activities Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in line with safeguarding and regulatory standards

What We're Looking For

A genuine passion for supporting children and young people Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills A proactive, empathetic, and resilient attitude

Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle

Enrolled

Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare

(if not already qualified) 1 years' experience working in residential childcare
