We are currently recruiting for an experienced Roofer to join a residential construction site in South Thamesmead. This is a full-time opportunity ideal for a qualified tradesperson looking to apply their skills in a dynamic, high-quality work environment.

What You'll Do:

Carry out skilled roofing work including installation, repair, and replacement of roofing systems Use a range of materials including slate, tiles, shingles, lead, tar, asphalt, wood, and aluminium Plan and configure job requirements for both pitched and flat roofing Install and repair guttering, flashing, and other roof fittings Apply damp proofing, water proofing, and insulation systems Ensure all work is completed to meet ventilation, durability, and energy efficiency standards Adhere to all on-site health and safety procedures, including working at height Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Requirements

What We're Looking For:

Minimum 5 years' roofing experience Must hold a valid CSCS card
- Level 2 NVQ = Blue CSCS
- Level 3 or 4 NVQ = Gold CSCS
- Level 6 NVQ = Black CSCS

NVQ Level 2, 3, or 6 in Roofing Occupations Strong understanding of site safety and working at height Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team Able to read technical plans and interpret specifications
Benefits

Pay:

36,000 - 44,000 per year (depending on experience)

Hours:

40 hours per week
Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
