Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Room Leader to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this vital role, you will lead a small team, fostering a nurturing and stimulating space where children can thrive.

Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire young learners, support team collaboration and ensure the delivery of high-quality care and education.

The additional responsibility of being 3rd In Charge can be added to this role for the right person.

Duties

Support the social, emotional, and developmental needs of children, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment Supervise and mentor assistant staff, encouraging teamwork and professional growth Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance and developmental milestones Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share updates on their child's progress and address any concerns Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, health and safety policies, and best practices in early childhood education Organize and facilitate age-appropriate activities that stimulate curiosity, creativity and independence

Experience

Level 3 Childcare or Early Years qualification is a MUST Proven experience working in early childhood education or childcare settings with children of various ages Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively Strong understanding of child development principles, curriculum planning, and educational best practices Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, families, colleagues, and community partners Knowledge of health & safety regulations related to childcare environments Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining a positive attitude

Pay: 29,500.00-32,000.00 per year
