We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Sports & Remedial Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of anatomy and be dedicated to providing exceptional therapeutic services to clients. This role requires a commitment to enhancing the overall well-being of clients through tailored massage techniques that promote relaxation, pain relief, and recovery followed with remedial exercise plan.
Duties
Conduct thorough consultations with clients to assess their needs and preferences.
Perform various types of massage therapies, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage.
Apply knowledge of anatomy to target specific muscle groups and alleviate tension.
Maintain a clean and organised treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitised and in good condition.
Keep accurate records of client treatments and progress.
Provide clients with advice on post-treatment care and wellness practices.
Stay updated on industry trends and techniques through ongoing professional development.
Skills
Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients.
Ability to create a calming environment that promotes relaxation.
Proficient in various massage techniques with attention to client comfort.
