Duties
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and cater to the varying abilities of students.
Provide instruction in core subjects such as English, Maths and Physical Education, PSHE, ensuring all students are actively participating and learning.
Utilise effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a conducive learning environment.
Offer tutoring support to students who require additional assistance in their studies.
Conduct assessments to evaluate student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
Foster a nurturing atmosphere by providing childcare support during school hours.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and special education professionals to support students with diverse learning needs.
Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
Skills
Strong proofreading skills to ensure all educational materials are free from errors.
Experience working with children, particularly in a preschool or special education setting.
Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff members.
Proficient in behaviour management techniques to maintain discipline within the classroom.
Knowledge of tutoring methods that enhance student understanding and retention of material.
Capability to teach physical education, promoting health and fitness among students.
A nurturing approach towards childcare that prioritises the well-being of each child.
