, supporting our primary learners with
SEND
and
challenging behaviours

This is more than a teaching role -- it's an opportunity to inspire, engage and empower young people who may have had limited or disrupted access to education.
The Role
Based on-site at our beautiful
New Roots Care & Education
campus, you will deliver the
National Curriculum
across a range of subjects from
EYFS to KS2
, adapting lessons to meet the diverse needs of our learners.
You will work with
small classes of up to 12 pupils
, supported by a team of skilled
Teaching Assistants
. Your focus will be to create a positive, nurturing learning environment that promotes academic growth, emotional resilience, and personal development.
Your responsibilities will include:
Planning, delivering, and evaluating engaging lessons tailored to individual needs.
Supporting learners to achieve their
EHCP
and
IEP
targets.
Working collaboratively with senior leaders to ensure high-quality curriculum delivery.
Providing pastoral support and fostering a sense of belonging and self-worth.
What We're Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- essential*. Previous experience working in a
school environment
.
Proven success supporting children with
SEND
and/or
challenging behaviours
.
The ability to make learning
fun, engaging, and meaningful
.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and classroom management skills.
A proactive, flexible approach and a genuine passion for helping young people succeed.
