Qualified Teacher
Job Description
First Steps Nursery is seeking to employ a qualified primary school teacher/EYT/EYPS to work in one of our busy pre-school rooms.
Duties will involve having a key worker group and maintaining digital portfolios and planning for those children. Experience of working with nursery aged children would be advantageous.
Other duties will involve generally keeping the room clean and tidy. You will also be required to assist in meeting the needs of all the children that are in the room from our quieter members to those demonstrating more challenging behaviour. We are looking for a team player who will work with our existing fantastic team.
The successful candidate will be required to have an up to date Enhanced DBS
The post is a permanent position working Monday - Friday. The successful candidate will be working a 8.25 shift on a daily basis. The nursery is open from 7:15am - 6:30pm and you would be working a shift between these hours.
You will complete all mandatory training courses within nursery.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 13.20-13.80 per hour
