Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and possess the skills necessary to create a safe, engaging, and educational environment. This role involves supervising and caring for children, ensuring their well-being, and fostering their development through play and structured activities. Duties - Provide attentive care and supervision for children in a nursery or childcare setting. - Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. - Communicate effectively with children, encouraging them to express themselves and develop social skills. - Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and playtime, ensuring a structured environment. - Maintain a clean and safe environment for all children, adhering to health and safety regulations. - Collaborate with parents or guardians to discuss children's progress and any concerns. - Demonstrate leadership qualities by guiding less experienced staff or volunteers in childcare practices. - Drive children to various activities or appointments as needed (if applicable). Requirements - Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education is highly desirable. - Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. - Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calm demeanour. - A genuine love for working with children and understanding their needs. - Knowledge of child development principles is an advantage. - A valid driving licence may be required for roles involving transportation of children. - Leadership skills to inspire confidence in both children and colleagues are beneficial.
