We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified or Trainee Dental Nurse to join Grosvenor Dental Surgery. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting dentists during procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and organisation within the clinic. Responsibilities

Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort at all times. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilising instruments and ensuring all necessary equipment is ready for use. Provide pre- and post-treatment care instructions to patients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have. Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment schedules efficiently. Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the clinic, adhering to health and safety regulations. Support with administrative tasks such as reception duties; booking appointments, taking payments, answering the telephone Communicate effectively with patients, providing reassurance and clear information throughout their visit.

Skills

For Trainee Dental Nurse GCSE's at grade C or above in English and Maths is a must. Proven experience in patient care within a healthcare or dental setting is desirable. Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to explain procedures clearly to patients. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Good IT skills for maintaining accurate records and managing appointment systems. Ability to work well as part of a team, demonstrating professionalism and empathy at all times.
