Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Dental Nurse or a Trainee Dental Nurse that is already on the Dental Nursing Course to join our friendly, long standing, dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires strong communication and organisational skills, as well as a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment for both patients and staff.

Responsibilities



Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and ready for use. Provide high-quality patient care, ensuring comfort and addressing any concerns or questions patients may have. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans, using IT systems effectively. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols. Manage appointment schedules and follow-up communications with patients to ensure continuity of care. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dental surgery, including sterilisation of instruments and disposal of waste materials. Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient experience and improve practice efficiency. We offer Free CPD and indemnity.

Experience



Previous experience as a Dental Nurse or in a similar healthcare role is preferred but not essential. Strong understanding of patient care principles and nursing practices. Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues. Excellent IT skills to manage patient records and scheduling systems efficiently. Strong communication skills to provide clear information to patients regarding their treatment plans. Exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Pay: 20,800.00-29,640.00 per year
