Job Summary



The post holder will provide effective, and comprehensive administrative support to the Clinical Governance & Quality Team. This will include compiling reports, managing commitments, and proactively dealing with day-to-day tasks. The post holder needs to ensure they are aware of the extensive team responsibilities, with flexibility, initiative, and enthusiasm. They will need to work both autonomously, and as part of the team.

Main Duties



Responsible for the administrative and clerical support, including running and distributing reports and independently actioning documents.

Assist in the implementation and development of the quality processes.

Manage and supervise on a day-to-day basis the needs of the clinical governance and quality team.

Training in the relevant company software will be provided.

The ability to manage workload and team expectations, the post holder will be expected to work both as part of a team and independently.

Preparing accurate materials including Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations and reports.

Responsibility for ensuring that deadlines are met, with regards to a variety of internal and external reports, which will include information gathering and collation of sensitive material, as required.

Maintain confidentiality at all times, particularly in relation to complaints, patient related issues and sensitive email correspondence.

Knowledge and Skills



Essential

Excellent communication skills.

The ability to manage a demanding workload and work under pressure to meet targets.

Computer literate - High proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Ability to present data in a clear and understandable format.

Desirable

Willingness to be flexible with regards to hours of work to meet deadlines/targets.

Ability to manage workloads and team expectations.

Able to demonstrate attention to detail.

Qualifications



Essential

GCSE (or equivalent) English, Maths and IT.

Knowledge of administrative procedures.

Experience



Essential

Working in a busy office environment.

Sensitivity to confidential information.

Experience in report writing/preparation.

Desirable

Evidence of continued professional development.

Previous experience in a Primary Care/Urgent healthcare setting.

Knowledge of key NHS terminologies.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 9 months

Pay: 12.31 per hour

Expected hours: 37.50 per week
