Quality Adminstrator

Milton Keynes, ENG, GB, United Kingdom

Job Description

Overview

Creating and building beautiful, award-winning homes is what we do at Dandara. Homes that combine innovative design with the highest standards of quality--something we have been doing for over 30 years. It's part of the reason why we're one of the UK's most respected private housebuilders.

Role Overview

The Quality Administrator plays a pivotal role in supporting the delivery and maintenance of high-quality construction standards across all Dandara sites. You will support the Quality team with data management, reporting, document control, and administration aligned to build compliance and customer satisfaction. You will also contribute to Dandara's Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) objectives by ensuring quality processes promote sustainability, social value, and responsible practices.

What you will do

Administrative Support

Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality records and documentation for active construction sites. Assist in the preparation and distribution of audit schedules, quality inspection checklists, and related reports. Provide administrative support for the Quality team's daily operations and wider cross-functional engagement with construction, health & safety, and commercial teams. Organise, file, and retrieve technical documentation in line with ISO and company standards.

Data Management & Reporting

Collate and analyse data from quality inspections, defect reports, and internal audits. Produce regular KPI and quality performance dashboards for internal stakeholders. Support non-conformance reporting and follow-up action tracking.

ESG & Compliance

Support the implementation of ESG-aligned quality initiatives, including responsible sourcing, waste reduction, and minimisation of construction defects. Monitor and report on quality metrics that impact Dandara's ESG reporting framework, including material efficiency, rework rates, and customer satisfaction. Assist with internal communications and awareness campaigns on quality and sustainability best practices. Support governance processes related to quality standards, ESG audits, and net zero objectives.

Stakeholder Engagement

Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure documentation compliance. Coordinate logistics and documentation for quality-related meetings and workshops. Provide excellent customer service to internal teams and assist with training materials related to quality and ESG standards.

What you will have

Previous experience in an administrative or quality support role within construction, engineering, or housing is desirable. Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint; experience with document management systems is a plus. Good communication skills and ability to liaise with both site-based and office-based teams. A proactive and professional approach to continuous improvement and ESG responsibility. Interest or experience in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices. Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001) or similar frameworks. Enthusiastic about contributing to high-performance teams and sustainable construction practices.

Any Other Duties / General Scope

Promote and comply with Dandara's policies on equal opportunities in line with the Equality Act 2010. Participate in the Performance Development Review process to support professional growth. Perform other tasks consistent with the nature and needs of the business. Commit to company values and act as a role model in upholding standards. Adhere to all Company Health & Safety policies and procedures. Support Dandara in meeting ESG goals and contribute to the delivery of its Sustainability Strategy. Participate in rollouts and reporting related to net zero and environmental initiatives.
