Job Description

Amegreen Children's Services specialises in therapeutic residential children's care. We currently have a community of beautiful homes set in rural West Berkshire where we offer a warm welcome to vulnerable children aged 5 years old to 18 years old. We're looking for a skilled Quality Assurance Officer to lead audits, support inspections, and ensure our services meet the highest standards across residential homes, schools, and alternate provisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead audits, inspections, and quality checks across all Amegreen services Support pre-registration processes, staff inductions, and recruitment Monitor compliance with regulations and support improvement plans Provide guidance on ClearCare systems and health & safety standards Conduct out-of-hours visits and staff surveys Collaborate with managers, training teams, and external agencies Report findings and recommendations to senior leadership

Essential Requirements:

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or equivalent) Substantial experience in children's residential care Strong knowledge of child development and trauma impact Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills Understanding of Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle

Desirable:

Management experience in residential care Other relevant specialist qualifications
