An opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual to join our team at our Cumbernauld Warehouse as a?Quality Assistant. You'll support quality assurance, audits, training, and compliance activities to ensure we meet BRCGS and customer standards.
Part Time - Permanent Role
Monday to Friday, 0930 to 1430
Some flexibility may be required when audits are taking place (advanced notice given)
Key Responsibilities:
Support internal audits, quality checks, and ensure compliance with BRCGS, HACCP, TACCP & VACCP. Maintain audit schedules and ensure corrective actions are implemented. Conduct GMP audits, stock checks, and report on KPIs. Manage quality-related documentation and liaise with regulatory bodies. Deliver inductions, maintain training records, and support ongoing staff training. Act as a point of contact for quality queries and assist in communication across departments. Monitor supplier and contractor compliance.
About You:
Experience in food manufacturing or quality assurance preferred. Knowledge of BRCGS, HACCP, allergen control, and root cause analysis. Strong Excel and reporting skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and time management skills. HACCP and internal auditing training desirable (training can be provided).
