An exciting opportunity has arisen for a

Quality Assurance Analyst

to join our small but busy team. VISIONMP is a SAAS provider specialising in the provision of Health & Safety systems and is growing from strength to strength.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive

Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst

to ensure the delivery of our high-quality Health & Safety software solutions, initially to cover Maternity leave for up to 9 months, but with the potential of moving into a permanent position.

As a

QA Analyst

, you will play a critical role in testing, identifying issues, and improving the functionality, performance, and usability of our platform. Your work will directly impact the reliability and effectiveness of our solutions, ensuring compliance with industry standards and exceeding customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:



Develop and Execute Test Plans:



Assist in creating, maintaining, and executing detailed test plans to assess platform performance against the features specified in project requirements, utilising JIRA for project management and tracking.

Contribute to Feature Development:



Collaborate with the development team to plan and create new features, preparing detailed project briefs to ensure accurate representation of the proposed functionality.

Beta Testing and Feedback:



Support thorough Beta testing of the VISION platform, identifying issues, suggesting improvements, and providing detailed, actionable feedback to the development team and Managing Director

.



Software Testing:



Live, and version-based testing to identify potential issues and ensure optimal functionality.

Fault Reporting & Resolution



Document the conditions under which software faults are identified and communicate findings effectively, testing resolutions promptly and effectively, ensuring minimal disruption to functionality.

Bug Tracking and Prioritisation:



Identify, document, and prioritise software bugs, participating in sprint planning sessions and leveraging JIRA for efficient tracking and resolution

Client Support Issues:



Provide support to clients in testing reported bugs and functionality issues, keeping them updated on progress and resolutions.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:



A solid understand of Quality Assurance Methodologies, various testing types and tools Proficient in standard office computer applications and tools Familiarity with database testing techniques and processes Hands on experience with testing APIs, web platforms and mobile applications At least 6 -12 months experience in a similar QA role or software testing role

Hours:



Part or full time hours, up to 35 hours per week.
