Job description


Based at: Civic Office, Waterdale, Doncaster, DN1 3BU (with possible option to Work From Home on occasion)




Salary details:

7.55 per hour/14,526 per annum from 1st April 2025, for all ages in their first year of the apprenticeship. The National Minimum Wage as appropriate to age is then paid

for the remainder of the apprenticeship contract following

About the role





The apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands on experience in learning about the Children, Young People and Families Directorate and gaining invaluable experience of working with and supporting the Children's Quality, Commissioning and Education Services.



The apprenticeship will support the ongoing delivery of Safeguarding training to Schools and Commissioned Providers as well as wider administrative support to the Children's Quality and Commissioning teams. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring that appropriate services are in place to improve the lives of the children in Doncaster.



In this role you will work towards your Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship with Doncaster College.


About You





No experience is required, just a desire to succeed, enthusiasm and a keen interest in Council functions and the organisation in general. Due to the nature of this role, you will represent the Council, evidencing the professional and business-like approach we have to customers, potential customers and other partners. You will be expected to work in accordance with service standards, procedures and timescales and take a significant role in ensuring we meet our service priorities, so a flexible approach is required.
