Main Purpose of the Role:
The Quality Assurance Checker will ensure that the estate maintains the highest standards of quality across accommodation, inventory, and maintenance. This role involves conducting inspections, managing stock levels, supporting maintenance processes, and collaborating with internal teams and suppliers to uphold brand standards and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and raise job cards, supporting allocation and system use for other users.
Record and maintain detailed inspection reports and quality documentation.
Communicate findings to relevant departments such as Maintenance and Housekeeping.
Collaborate with suppliers to ensure inventory meets required standards.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Train staff on quality standards and best practices.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for quality processes.
Conduct accommodation inventory checks site-wide, including monitoring stock levels within Stores to maintain par levels.
Perform maintenance checks across internal and external public areas.
Carry out regular audits, including maintenance standards of Lodges.
Assist the Estate Purchasing and Quality Manager with stock management and inventory control.
Pick inventory for Housekeeping and issue stock as required.
Monitor guest reviews for maintenance and inventory issues, taking corrective action where necessary.
Conduct emergency lights tests
Track job cards for awaiting parts, ordering, and issuing from stock as required.
Report inventory issues promptly to the Estate Purchasing and Quality Manager to ensure resolution.
Working Hours:
39 hours per week (8:30 am - 5:00 pm, 5 days in 7 including weekends)
Key Skills and Attributes:
Strong attention to detail.
Previous experience in a similar role desirable but not essential (full training provided).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and adaptability to changing requirements.
Hospitality experience preferred.
Ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
