Our Quality Assurance




You'll be the heartbeat of food safety and quality across The Newt's production world -- where our creamery crafts artisan cheese,our bakery creates beautiful breads and pastries,and our butchery champions true field-to-fork excellence. Supplying our restaurants,hotel,shops,and online store,you'll ensure every product reflects our signature care and consistency. From HACCP and compliance to lab sampling and trend analysis,you'll turn data into action and action into consistency -- so every bite feels premium.

Key Responsibilities



Develop,implement,and maintain food safety programmes,policies,and procedures. Monitor,verify,and validate controls across supply chain and production. Stay audit-ready:liaise with regulators and support external/internal audits. Set quality standards; run QC checks,device calibrations,and sampling for lab analysis. Analyse quality data,spot trends,and drive corrective/preventive actions. Lead root-cause problem solving on incidents and deviations. Educate teams on hygiene,sanitation,and best practice; foster a safety-first culture. Maintain accurate documentation for compliance,audits,and actions taken.

What we're looking for



Experience in chilled Food/Drink Manufacturing Knowledge of Food Safety and HACCP development. Health & Safety awareness; strong numeracy and digital skills for data trending. Fast-moving environment mindset; highly organised with sharp attention to detail. Clear communicator,proactive and flexible team player. Qualifications:Food Safety Level 2 and HACCP Level 2 (Level 3 preferred) Bonus:Degree or HND in relevant field of study Bonus:audit-driven continuous improvement and customer-focused thinking.

The Technical department covers food safety compliance and quality standards of our Butchery,Bakery,Creamery,Farm Kitchen,Productive Growing and Logistics departments.
