We're looking for a 'Quality Assurance Inspector' to join HycAero within Score Group, based at our facility in Burnley, England.

HycAero And Hycrome Europe
are split into two companies HycAero & Hycrome Europe. HycAero primary focus is on special processing of civil airframe components and ancillary equipment. Hycrome Europe is focused on the Oil and Gas Industry processing and repairs of valve and IGT components. Specialist activities in both companies include engineering and design, advanced manufacturing, the application of protective treatments and component repair.
About the role
Due to continued growth within HycAero we are looking for a Quality Assurance Inspector to join the team to support with some of the fundamental skills of inspection and using various chemical solutions to chemically etch, anodise and passivation of components.

Primary responsibilities
Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company policies, procedures, standards and work instructions.
Physical and Visual Inspection
Complete batch inspection on any components
Expected to perform first offs
Dimensional over checks
Maintaining a clean and tidy work area, and teamwork are essential.
Qualifications
Educated to GCSE or equivalent level.
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in aerospace would be advantageous but not essential as full training would be given.
In depth knowledge of product and inspection techniques
Ability to take part and contribute to problem solving quality issues
Effective communication skills; both written and oral
Ability to read Engineering Drawings
CMM (desirable)
Behaviours

Understand the requirements of a production environment.
Good attention to detail.
