The job:

As a Quality Assurance Technician, your duties will include:

Conducting quality inspection checks on products & ensuring they are to the required specification. Reporting any non-conformances, quarantining any effected stock, & ensuring corrective actions are followed up. Carrying out equipment calibrations & ensuring all calibrations are up-to-date. Conducting scheduled internal audits & evaluating these findings to implement corrective actions. Positive release of finished goods to ensure all products released are to a high standard. Swabbing of equipment after cleaning, & releasing it back to Production accordingly. Taking samples & swabs for microbiological testing. Working with Production to resolve any quality issues with their products. Supporting the Quality Management team and driving a strong food safety & quality culture. Ensuring compliance with internal procedures & food safety regulations. Assisting with training of staff in procedures & quality control. Any other reasonable additional duties

We are looking for a highly motivated and pro-active person who is willing to challenge themselves in an ever-evolving industry. The right person must have the ability to methodically approach tasks ensuring all requirements are captured. It is preferable, but not essential, for the right candidate to have:

Attention to detail is a must Computer literate Good communication skills - both written and verbal Confidence in their approach with the ability to challenge
Monday to Friday 8:30am-5pm (40hr working week)

Holiday: 20 days, plus bank holidays, plus an extra day for each year of service (capped at 1 week)

Flexibility/ hours can be discussed at interview

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 26,000.00-27,000.00 per year
