We're looking for an experienced
QA Shift Manager
to join our Quality & Governance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills and a passion for quality to make a real impact and develop into a QA Manager role.
Wha
t you'll do
Lead and manage a team of QA Officers, ensuring compounded and Specials licence products are released in compliance with GMP and QMS standards.
Support and deputise for the QA Manager, including involvement in regulatory inspections.
Drive people development through coaching, mentoring, and upskilling the team.
Oversee investigations into non-conformances and implement CAPAs.
Ensure readiness for internal audits and external regulatory inspections.
Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain compliance and continuous improvement.
Hours:
Day shift , occasional on-call duties and potential cover for other shifts (overtime allowance for night shift cover)

About You
Experience:
QA release of compounded products and Specials licence products; leadership experience in a shift manager role.
Skills:
Strong people management and coaching ability; confident in supporting and deputising for QA Manager.
Knowledge:
GMP, GDP, MHRA requirements; experience with regulatory inspections desirable.
Qualifications:
Degree in a science discipline (or equivalent); pharmaceutical industry experience essential.
