- Viridian Nutrition is the leading brand of ethical nutritional supplements. "What's an ethical supplement?" we hear you ask! Well in a nutshell means we care deeply about everything we do, from the seed to the recycling bank, we focus on minimizing our footprint on the earth and we shun the use of chemicals for a healthier, better way.

From our beginnings back in 1999 we now have a range of over 350 products. Plans are in place to continue this growth over the coming years, and a key part of that will be maintaining our quality assurance.

The role -

To develop, implement and oversee quality standards and processes to ensure that products meet quality specification. Overseeing quality across all areas of the company and ensuring Viridian maintains the highest standards both at production sites and at head office.

Monitoring and auditing of quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with established standards, legislation and regulations.

Key responsibilities will include:

Write up, co-ordinate, implement, and train on new standard operating procedures and ensure sign off by all relevant staff members.

Overall maintenance of the BRC quality management system in line with the current version of the BRC standard.

Maintenance of soil association accreditation and oversee all other accreditation bodies as well as attendance of the annual SA audit.

Ensure that if any changes in procedure take place for product that this is flagged for update in the company's standard operating procedures and ensure all procedures are correctly dated and signed.

Review and follow up on supplier audits to ensure all actions are closed out by the deadline indicated on the report.

Assist with Goods In procedure alongside nutrition team.

Reporting and analysis of Non-Conformances and complaints, highlighting any trends to management.

What you will bring to the role:

Great communication Skills

Excellent organisation and administration skills

Attention to detail

Adaptability

Previous HACCP, BRC and food safety knowledge or qualifications would be beneficial but training will be given.

Previous food industry experience desirable although training will be given

Must have full driving licence

Microsoft office - must have advanced Excel skills.
