The Role
As our new
Quality CMM Inspector
, you'll be an integral part of our production process, ensuring every component meets stringent customer specifications. You'll work closely with machinists to catch and correct issues early, drive continuous improvements, and uphold our AS9100 and ISO?9001 quality standards.

As a CMM Inspector, you will:
Inspect components at first?off, FAIR and final stages to ensure full compliance with customer specifications.
Program, set up and operate CMM software Mitutoyo, Aberlink or equivalent but working knowledge of others will be taken into consideration..
Use hand gauges, verniers, micrometers, and surface testers for supplementary checks.
Produce and maintain Certificates of Conformance, and FAIR reports; raise concessions when required.
Provide operators with timely feedback on non?conformities and highlight trends to supervisors.
Assist production teams with technical queries and drive continuous?improvement initiatives.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Proven CMM inspection experience (Aberlink, Mitutoyo or similar).
Solid understanding of GD&T and QMS standards (ISO?9001, AS9100).
Hands?on experience with inspection tools and interpreting inspection reports.
Ability to read and interpret 2D drawings and 3D models.
Engineering background in CNC machining (milling or turning) preferred.
Proactive problem?solver with excellent communication and team ethos.
IT literate--comfortable with Microsoft Excel.
Lean/Six?Sigma knowledge and FAIRS process experience advantageous.
Flexibility to work occasional overtime as business needs dictate.
