Job Description

THE ROLE



The Quality & Compliance Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the organisation's Quality Management System (and IMS) in line with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards. The role ensures that all processes, products, and services meet internal and external quality requirements, driving continuous improvement across the business.

Key Responsibilities



Business Operations

Administrate the systems that support bid, tender, and pre-construction processes by coordinating inputs, documentation, and deadlines. Support project teams with quality planning, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and document control. Ensure the business adopt LEAN methodologies and implement our LEAN strategy.
Compliance & Governance

Support compliance with company policies, construction legislation, and client requirements. Ensure documentation, project files, and records are maintained in line with ISO and industry standards. Conduct internal audits and manage external audits and certification processes. Investigate non-conformances and implement corrective/preventative actions. Oversee full compliance with HERS. Attend Supplier/Client meetings.
Performance & Reporting

Prepare management reports, data analysis, and KPI tracking to support decision-making and submit to the Head of HSEQT. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement new systems where appropriate.
People & Communication

Support staff in quality management, providing coaching, guidance, and development. Promote a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement across the business.

Candidate profile



Essential Skills & Experience

Previous experience in a business support/administration management role, preferably in construction or a related sector. Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and document management systems. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Understanding of construction processes, terminology, and project lifecycles. Proven track record of developing efficient business processes and reporting systems.

Level 4 NVQ Quality Practitioner LEAN Six Sigma Green Belt
