We're looking for a

Quality Controller to help us maintain the highest standards in our manufacturing department. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and hardworking individual to join a busy and fast-paced team.


Poynton has an excellent heritage in Global Defence & Security markets. The team manufacture a wide range of products including Satellite Communication, Power Management Control, Surveillance and Counter-IED equipment's. Manufacturing and test skills employed include electronic and electro-mechanical assembly, panel / cabinet wiring and testing of the final built assemblies.


This role is on a full time, permanent contract, working 37 hours flexitime across 4.5 days per week.

Some of the main responsibilities include:

Carrying out QC inspection of a wide range of electro-mechanical products. Ensure all product documentation complies with manufacturing process requirements. Coaching Production staff to ensure adherence to procedures and quality standards Supporting the QA team in relation to any trending quality deviations

For this role you will need:

Experience working in a similar role Experience inspecting to IPC 610/620 standards (desirable) Ability to interpret complex schematics and engineering drawings Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication skills
