Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Quality Control Dispatch Operative to join our team. As a QC Dispatch Operative, you will be responsible for visually checking parts against drawings, preparing goods ready for dispatch, packaging, and shipping customer orders accurately and efficiently. Your role will involve managing outbound goods, operating forklifts, maintaining stock records, and ensuring orders are dispatched on time to meet customer expectations.

An element of overtime has been included in the salary; due to the nature of the role this will be required at times

Responsibilities:

Organise all parts ready for a prompt shipment Assemble and kit parts when required ready for dispatch Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch Ensure all goods are correctly labelled and documented for shipping Operate forklifts to load and unload vehicles safely Book dispatches onto our MRP system and complete all relevant paperwork Work with internal transport, couriers, hauliers, and transport companies to arrange collections and deliveries Maintain accurate stock records including frequent stock checks Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow between production and dispatch Keep despatch and storage areas tidy and well-organised

Qualifications:

Ability to ready full engineering drawings would be advantageous. Previous experience in working with a fast paced environment Previous experience in a dispatch or logistics role preferred Strong mechanical assembly knowledge and ability to operate forklifts safely Ability to pro-actively make independent decisions and involve other members of the team when required. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Good communication and teamwork skills Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to 36,000.00 per year
