Quality Control Operative
to join our growing team.
The Role:
As a
Quality Control Operative
, you will be responsible for ensuring all joinery items meet our high standards. This is a
hands on role
with full training provided ideal for someone with an eye for detail, a proactive mindset, and an interest in timber based construction.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out
quality checks
on joinery and timber frame components across multiple sites.
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards.
Work closely with production and installation teams to maintain consistency and craftsmanship.
Accurately record and report defects, ensuring follow up corrective action is taken.
Travel between
multiple locations
(mileage paid) to perform inspections.
Assist in developing and improving quality control procedures as needed.
What We're Looking For:
A
valid UK driving licence
and
access to your own car
(mileage allowance provided).
Willingness to travel to different job sites across various locations.
Strong attention to detail and a good eye for craftsmanship.
Excellent communication and reporting skills.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
