We have an exciting new vacancy for a Quality Control & Environmental Centre Manager.

You will be leading and managing quality assurance and customer support activities, ensuring timely resolution of product issues, compliance with regulatory requirements, and continuous improvement of supplier and internal processes. The role focuses on operational oversight, team development, and maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers to uphold the Company's reputation and brand.

Main duties and responsibilities:



Act as the primary contact for customers reporting product issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution. Engage parts suppliers when root causes are identified and monitor corrective actions. Support and monitor the Incoming and Outgoing Inspection teams and review supplier performance regularly, requesting Improvement Action Plans where necessary. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers to achieve positive outcomes. Respond to initial enquiries within two working days and resolve outstanding issues promptly using internal and external resources. Lead on quality and environmental targets, Business Management System compliance, safety, approvals, and spare parts issues. Work closely with Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and Technical Foreperson to ensure departmental objectives are met. Review quality and environmental targets regularly and assess training needs of management and supervisory staff at least annually. Support audits by certification authorities (e.g., BSI, VDE, CCIC, KTL) to ensure compliance and successful outcomes. Promote environmentally responsible practices among staff, suppliers, and service providers. Act as a resource for legislative compliance requirements (RoHS, REACh, ErP, Packaging Regulations, Country of Origin). Motivate and support staff development to enhance skills and knowledge. Ensure compliance with all Corporate, European, National, and local regulations. Maintain a strong focus on improving the Company's reputation and product brand. Set and manage the Centre's fiscal budget effectively.

Quality & Compliance: Strong knowledge of quality systems, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and regulatory requirements. Environmental Awareness: Understanding of major environmental legislation and commitment to minimizing impact. Technical Expertise: ONC/OND in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience (10+ years in QC management). Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills; active listening; ability to engage diverse stakeholders with tact and diplomacy. Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Analytical approach to root cause resolution; sound judgment under pressure. Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain operational efficiency.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 47,000.00-52,000.00 per year
