THE OPPORTUNITY

We're looking for a diligent and detail-driven QA Auditor to join our team at Heler Foods Packing, Minffordd.

In this role, you will:
Monitor and document line hygiene, housekeeping, GMP, food safety, traceability, allergen management, legality and quality. Manage non-conformances across product, process and packaging, conducting root-cause analysis and providing recommendations. Manage glass breakage incidents effectively in line with company procedure. Verify HACCP standards across the full product range under guidance from the Quality Manager. Deliver a robust internal audit programme that continually challenges and improves food safety standards. Review supplier documentation, support new supplier approvals and monitor ongoing compliance. Assist with external pest-prevention audits. Monitor QAS and Line Standards, ensuring practical and written compliance. Oversee GMP audits, calibration schedules, pest control, lab testing and traceability systems. Deputise for the Quality Manager where required.

Laboratory experience in a similar environment. A logical, methodical approach with strong attention to detail. Internal auditing capability and experience with BRC compliance. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Behaviours aligned to our values:

Minimum of basic Food Hygiene certification.


Desirable:
Level 2 Food Safety and/or HACCP qualification. Experience with retailer quality systems. Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively. Understanding of effective measurement procedures.
