Morley Glass and Glazing Ltd are the country's biggest integral blind manufacturer with over 20 years experience in providing our customers nationwide with our award winning, industry leading Uni-Blinds. We have sustained year on year growth and we have a reputation for great employee relations and really looking after our staff.

We are looking for an operative to work in our quality control department. Your duties will include but not limited to: blind production, assembly, quality control, build up of double glazed units and working within the transport department. This position will require some heavy lifting, as you will be required to lift products in excess of 20+ kg to examine under a light light box. Previous experience in the blind or double glazing manufacture industry would be highly desirable but is not essential as we're happy to invest in training the right individuals.

You may also be called upon to driver for the business. This will include multidrops of goods to areas throughout the UK mainland.

Hours of Work whilst onsite are Monday to Friday 7:30 - 16:30 with 2 x 30 minute breaks.

As a driver you likely be required to start earlier in a morning and could be a later finish.

This is an entry level position, however you must possess a full drivers licence and held this for a minimum of three years and must have no endorsements.

Applicants will commence a 3 month probationary period.

There is in addition regular opportunity for overtime at x 1.5 of hourly rate.

Some Saturday morning work will be required.
