We're Hiring: Quality Control Operative (with Fabrication experience)

and are looking for hardworking and enthusiastic individuals to help us ensure only the highest quality of product leaves our factory.

As the Quality Control Operative, you will play an essential part in our window and door manufacturing process. The ideal candidate for this role will have:

1 or 2 years of experience

as Quality Control in a manufacturing environment. Basic

Quality Control training

Experience in manufacturing or fabrication

--however,

full training

will be provided for the right candidates. Good computer skills Good attention to detail and ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Inspecting products according to the critical customer list, from U6 to U21/23 factory. You'll need to perform an additional QC check on all goods moved from U6 to U21/23.

2. Verifying the loading schedule to ensure products are ready for dispatch.

3. Using the loading schedule, checking that all related product components are marked as 'QC Passed' and ready for dispatch.

4. Documenting any missing components or products (e.g., frames, windows, doors) using the SafetyCulture app.

5. Reporting any issues, such as missing components or products, to the QC Inspection Team Lead or Dispatch Loading Charge. This should be done daily before 2pm.

6. Placing 'QC Passed' stickers on all products that have been inspected.

7. Carrying out any other duties as assigned.

Shift Pattern:

Training will have to be completed on standard daily shift - Mon-Fri 7:30am - 4:30pm (initial 2 weeks).

.

After that 2 shifts available:

Early Shift:

6:00am - 2:00pm - Rate of pay 12.25 - 40 hrs per week

Late Shift:

2:00pm - 10:00pm - Rate of pay 12.25, 40hrs per week Plus 40.00 attendance allowance. 40 hours and all five days must be worked to get this.
