Following investment and expansion of our busy and varied manufacturing workshop, and a move to brand new premises, Raaft have an exciting opportunity for a yard operative to join the team and train up as a Quality Control Operative.

Working Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm, 40 hours per week, your responsibilities will be:

Following the goods in/out processes and responsible for packaging finished goods for the customer Working from issued drawings and signing off work as required With training, carrying out the quality control of completed manufactured goods With training, carrying out the quality control of completed powder coated goods Carrying out full pallet listings for our customers of the finished goods Ensuring all project cards are kept up to date Packaging of all completed projects Forklifting responsibilities inclusive of loading and unloading lorries Preparation of planter fixings Support the management of consumables
You will be an excellent team player, able to work under pressure and you will have a "can do" attitude.

You will need:

Full valid UK driving licence essential, with transport (due to location of workshop) Fork Truck Counterbalance licence would be an advantage but not essential Previous experience and knowledge of steel work would be an advantage but not essential Good standard of written and spoken English Physically fit and able to manage some heavy lifting
