We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Supervisor to oversee and maintain the highest standards of quality assurance within our manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will lead quality inspection processes, analyse data to identify areas for improvement, and ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies. Responsibilities



Supervise daily quality control operations across production lines, ensuring adherence to specified standards. Develop, implement, and review quality assurance procedures and protocols. Conduct regular inspections and audits of products, processes, and equipment to identify defects or deviations. Analyse inspection data to detect trends, root causes of issues, and areas requiring improvement. Lead investigations into quality incidents, coordinate corrective actions, and verify effectiveness. Train and mentor quality control team members on inspection techniques, safety procedures, and compliance requirements. Collaborate with production managers and other departments to optimise processes and enhance overall product quality. Maintain comprehensive documentation of inspections, non-conformances, and corrective actions in accordance with regulatory standards. Supervision of inspection, marking and hardness departments daily work schedule to ensure OTD is met efficiently reporting to the Quality control manager on issues raised. Provide first off inspection of products. Carry out 100% inspection of critical parts. Liaise with QC manager for calibration of all gauges within Beck Prosper. Maintain monthly calibration status and inspection records. Provide guidance on thread fits and machining tolerances to section Supervisors/Engineering manager. Complete 8D report analysis with regard to investigation root cause analysis for all Complaints/NCRs. Fulfil training programs deemed necessary to allow efficient performance of duties and assist in your personal development To take a responsible approach to health, safety and environmental risks in relation to your own job role and to control the risks or report them to management as appropriate Any other duties as required, commensurate with job position

Experience



Proven experience in quality assurance or control within a manufacturing or industrial setting- fastener experience adventageous. Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret data accurately and make informed decisions. Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience supervising or managing a team. Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 9001 or equivalent is desirable. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and a methodical approach to work. Effective communication skills to liaise across departments and present findings clearly.
