Quality Control Supervisor

Job Description

As the UK's sole manufacturing facility within the Sharp global network, we have been at the forefront of developing and producing high-quality products and solutions for decades. We are now looking for a talented and experienced Quality Control Supervisor to join our Quality Control Department.

In this role you will supervise daily quality control activities within incoming and outgoing inspection, ensuring products meet internal standards and regulatory requirements. The role focuses on maintaining compliance, supporting the team, and ensuring accurate documentation of quality checks.

Key Responsibilities:



Supervise and coordinate the work of quality control staff to ensure timely and accurate inspections. Conduct routine checks to confirm compliance with established quality procedures. Maintain accurate records of inspections and test results. Report quality issues promptly to the Quality Control Manager and assist in implementing corrective actions as directed. Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and ISO requirements during inspection processes. Support training of new team members on inspection procedures and quality standards. Prepare detailed reports on inspection outcomes for review by the Quality Control Manager. Ensure readiness of inspection areas for internal audits as instructed. Track and interpret defect trends to inform decisions and strengthen continuous?improvement activities. Ensure accurate and timely recording of environmental performance data, including utility consumption and waste streams, to support compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:



HND or NVQ Level 3-4 in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field (or equivalent experience). At least 2-3 years of quality control experience in manufacturing, with prior supervisory experience considered a strong advantage. Good understanding of inspection techniques and quality standards. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures. Basic proficiency in quality documentation and reporting tools.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 37,540.00 per year
