Quality Control Technician Lead

We are very excited to announce a fantastic new opportunity to join our Quality Control Technician Lead team based in Shildon, United Kingdom - the hub of our Aerospace business unit. This role will offer excellent exposure to participate in our laboratory support activities, testing materials at various stages of production.

Role Requirements:

Compliance with all relevant EHS policies and standard operating procedures In-process and final testing of batches to required specifications Testing and approval of raw materials and 3rd party intermediates Checking and recording of results Approval of batches to fill and dispatch Producing, checking and signing test reports where required Checking and authorizing release documentation Carrying out initial investigation of retain samples Communicating progress updates and test information in the department and to other relevant stake holders

Key Skills Needed:

Prior laboratory experience (2+ years desired) and/or degree in relevant subject Manufacturing experience (2+ years desired) Communication and problem solving skills The ability to work unsupervised Attention to detail & Documentation completion
