Salary:
34,062, including night shift premium
Schedule:
12 hour shifts, working rotation shifts, a week of days followed by a week of nights
46 hours per week, Monday to Thursday

The role:
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to support our operations team, working 12 hour shifts - day and nights - with hours split across Monday to Thursday, meaning no weekend work is required. Also, there are regular overtime opportunities, if desired. The Quality Controller, reporting to the Team Leader, would be responsible for ensuring quality standards are adhered to, from checking product to ensure it meets customer standards & requirements and following process & procedures when quality issues arise to ensuring staff follow health & safety protocols and maintaining accuracy of paperwork for auditing purposes. This is an ideal opportunity for an individual from a production background looking to join a well-established company that is growing year on year. This role has lots of day-to-day variety to it, working closely as part of a team as well as using initiative when working alone. We are also looking for a Deputy Team Leader, which could be offered if a suitable candidate is found. This will be discussed further if applicable.
Responsibilities will include:
Working in accordance with the company's health and safety and manufacturing practice
Processing production documentation and accurately recording data
Conducting routine quality checks to ensure high standards against customer specifications
Maintaining high standards in line with our quality accreditation
Ensure the finished goods are packed safely and accurately in line with our customer expectations
Conducting start of shift checks and following procedures
Regular communication with the team leader
Supporting the machine operatives by covering as and when required
Take a full active part in all aspects of training
Essential Skills and Experience:
Ability to work alone and accurately record data
Previous experience of working in a production or quality checking environment would be advantageous
