Job Description
Ripe Now (Kirton Site) is looking for an experienced quality controller to join their small team on a full-time basis. Experience working in fresh produce desired; however, applicants who can demonstrate working within a similar role will be considered.
Rotating (2,2,3) - 12hr shift
Hours 07:30 - 19:30 (2 x15 minute / 30-minute lunch break)
Full time, permanent position
Hourly pay 13.25
Job description
Complete daily Intake QA inspections and reports for all arrivals Factory on-line quality checks working closely with the production team Finished product positive release checks Complete daily / weekly records Complete generic on-line check sheets Carry out shelf-life sampling Label checking Fruit / stores temperature checks Raise issues with product quality Carry out monthly audits
Skills required
The ability to work independently as well as part of the team Passionate about food Attention to detail Good communication skills Flexible to cover extra days to cover holidays and sickness
