Job Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Controller to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and comply with industry regulations. This role is crucial in maintaining our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction. The Quality Controller will work closely with production teams to implement quality assurance processes and conduct thorough analyses of products.

Duties

Carrying out line checks on products, checking packaging, labelling, batch coding, weights, and general appearance are all correct

Prepare and issue factory paperwork

Carry out testing of manufactured products to meet specifications.

Carrying out inspections of components, labels and raw materials as required

Maintaining Quality Control on raw materials

Undertaking QC checks (post pack checks on liquid sachets etc)

Daily temperature check on freezer/chiller

Maintaining the laboratory equipment

ATP / Allergen swab checks

Take monthly environmental swabs

Packaging of samples and booking a courier

Prepare and book lab samples

Archiving of paperwork

Weekly hygiene walkaround

Assist Technical manager when needed

Skills

Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and methodologies. Proficient in analysing data and interpreting results to inform decision-making. Familiarity with HACCP standards and food safety regulations is highly desirable. Excellent attention to detail, with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective collaboration across teams. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
